"Almost every week I struggled to understand my physics professor, the teaching assistant, and the textbook. I even went to the professor's office hours, to no avail. But after an hour with Aaron I understood the whole chapter! It was like a light bulb went on!" -Christine H., Renton, WA
"Thanks for... giving me confidence when doing physics. You really made it feel like an approachable subject.... [On my final exam,] I've never been so calm, despite seeing tough questions. I even managed to smile through my test! It was amazing! [You are] incredibly patient and always cared about my success as a student and a person." -Ronny B., Cupertino, CA
Aaron knows how to explain things in ways that make sense to most people.
Most people learn best when both hemispheres of the brain are integrated in the process. The right (rhythmic, abstract, spatial, creative, holistic) and the left (verbal, logical, sequential, linear). Aaron's style can help you use your whole brain to solve problems in a powerful, efficient, and enjoyable way.
HobbiesAaron spent a year of high school living and studying in Germany, where he became a fluent speaker of German.
He also plays woodwind instruments and performs in a band (on vocals, flutes, saxophone, and pennywhistle). He offers private instruction in woodwind and voice, and spent two years as an elementary school music teacher.
He enjoys outdoor recreation including bicycling, backpacking, kayaking, and visiting scenic places by car.
