Well, let's see! I've always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl, so what better way to practice than being a tutor? So far, I have only tutored two 8th grade girls who happened to live down the street from me. I helped them in Algebra I (I love Algebra!) and a little bit of science. Its great review for me to tutor kids in Algebra because everything in math builds off of it! I hope to put it in the most simplistic terms as possible and even give little short cuts/hints that helped me when I took the class. I haven't taken a math class since my senior year in high school (last year) when I took AP Statistics, so I may be a little rusty, but all I need is a few examples to refresh my memory! It's extremely difficult to get into the math class I want at UCSC apparently! As far as French goes, I just love the language, the people and the culture. I've been to France twice and loved every second of it! I took French all 4 years of high school and occasionally help my little sister who is currently in French 3. I have to admit, it is way easier for me to read and write French than actually speak it!
