In high school I volunteered and chaired a program that provided free tutoring to elementary and middle schoolers. There my focus was working with kids who needed help with writing and grammar skills. With the middle schoolers I taught organizational skills that would help them get their homework done with an efficient use of time and clear understanding of the work they just completed. Writing is my key focus because a good foundation in essay writing skills will help you though out life. I am a big lover of the outline because the basis to a great paper is clear organization that your reader can understand. Along with writing I have a passion for history. At UC Santa Cruz I have taken many History classes spanning from American early to current and European Ancient History.
