I taught English at the high school level for 12 years -every level from 9th grade English to AP Language and AP Literature. I have recently left the school system to pursue a PhD in Education at UC Santa Cruz and am hoping to keep my teaching skills sharp through private tutoring. I especially enjoy working with students to improve their writing and helping them learn to interpret challenging readings.
