Teaching Experience : - Employed full-time as a Math/Science teacher for middle/high school students at Lydian Academy LLC from June 2017-April 2018. - Employed part-time as a student aide at Early Education Services (UC Santa Cruz) from October 2014-June 2017 *Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I was fortunate enough to have been a full-time teacher at a private school in Menlo Park over the last ten months or so. I recently decided to step away from this position in order to commit more of my time to a research project on the atmospheric chemistry of Venus. I find it difficult to stop teaching completely and this is why I am currently looking for some private tutoring clients. My goal through my teaching is to not only increase the mathematical/scientific literacy of our youth, but to get kids to realize that these subjects can actually be fun and interesting. To achieve these goals, I try to keep my sessions relaxed and more like a running conversation about the subject matter, rather than a classic lecture style that they probably see everyday in class.
