I went to California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, or Cal Poly for short. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. I graduated with a 3.95 cumulative GPA.
Experience
I tutored when I was in high school, and I have tutored throughout college. After I graduated, I worked for 6 months with a tutoring agency in San Luis Obispo. All in all, I have been a tutor for about 6 years. I have taken the MCAT and scored a 38Q I have taken all the basic science courses including general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, microbiology, and physics. I have taken math courses up to multivariable calculus and I have taken a good amount of engineering courses (Fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electronics courses, etc...) I enjoy tutoring because I love helping people. Nothing feels quite as good as the feeling when a students understands a difficult concept. That "aha!" moment is what I work for.

I am currently in the process of applying to medical schools. I was in marching band throughout college (yes, I am a band geek...), and I volunteer my time when I am not tutoring. I do enjoy playing video games, but I still try to get out and go to the gym/run when I can.
