Experience
I find helping others better understand physics and mathematics very fulfilling. These subjects are of critical importance in comprehending the physical world and solving the challenges of the modern era. With a little assistance, these sometimes challenging subjects can become easier to understand. The bulk of my teaching experience is as a teaching assistant for UCSC physics department, primarily for introductory-level, calculus-based physics courses. In this position, I instructed laboratory classes, provided homework assistance in discussion sessions, and graded coursework. Generally, I worked with groups of approximately 10-20 students. The scope of my undergraduate coursework in math and physics was fairly broad, and I could comfortably be of assistance with the following topics: Physics: -High Schools Physics -Introductory-level University Physics -Upper-division Classical Mechanics -Electricity and Magnetism -Thermal Physics -Wave Mechanics -Quantum Mechanics Math: -Elementary Arithmetic -Pre-Algebra & Algebra (all levels) -Pre-Calculus & Calculus (all levels) -Statistics -Linear/Matrix Algebra -Differential Equations (including PDEs)
