Did junior college in San Diego before transfering to UCSC to earn my BA degree in Mathematics and also a MA in Mathematics Education.
Experience
This is my 10th year teaching high school math at Aptos High School. I have taught all math courses except Calculus. I'm very experienced with the curricula and could easily predict test questions to help students get immediate results in class. I have tutored a couple students in their Cabrillo College online math course. We worked together through the HW and quizzes and then the students took the exams at the college. That seemed to work well! I also love my job, and will make learning math an enjoyable experience. No judgements will be made. We will have fun and you will make progress!!!

Hobbies
My passion is surfing and I love surfing all over Santa Cruz (and central america/indonesia during the summer and winter breaks), wherever I can find the best and least crowded waves :) I also have been the surf team coach at Aptos High for the last 9 years! I know what it's like to have a passion outside of school/academics. Hiring me as your tutor will make you a more efficient learner and you will have more time to do what you really love!
